The Pingelap Municipal Government, including the Mayor and local officials, actively supports the project, ensuring it aligns with community priorities and traditional practices.

Saviru’s Contribution

Saviru Technologies introduced clean energy-powered food processing solutions tailored for remote island settings, which includes solar dryers, energy efficient heat-pump dryers, other processing equipment, and hands-on training to help the community build a sustainable food enterprise.

Lih Pingelap Deke Inc

The enterprise management and operations are carried out by Lih Pingelap Deke Inc., which is a women-led community organization in Pingelap focused on self-sufficiency, economic empowerment, and sustainability.
